- Te drove the vehicle and found that upon take off the engine seems to misfire mimicking gear hunting from the transmission. Tech hooked up the scan tool and monitored live data and spotted a misfire on cylinder 3 Code- P0303. Tech recommends starting with the spark plugs and ignition coils due to the engine code paired with the misfire/lack of power. Tech noted that the engine mounts are wearing out, you can feel the engine shift when taking off, they can be done when the customer gets home.
- Removed and replaced spark plugs and ignition coils. Cleared codes and test drove for proper operation. No codes came back on. Tech did notice that both engine/transmission mounts are rotting out. Rec new transmission and engine mounts on both sides. This can be done upon returning home.
