2014 Audi Q5
Mileage81,435Service Date3/19/2026Services Performed- Te drove the vehicle and found that upon take off the engine seems to misfire mimicking gear hunting from the transmission. Tech hooked up the scan tool and monitored live data and spotted a misfire on cylinder 3 Code- P0303. Tech recommends starting with the spark plugs and ignition coils due to the engine code paired with the misfire/lack of power. Tech noted that the engine mounts are wearing out, you can feel the engine shift when taking off, they can be done when the customer gets home.
- Removed and replaced spark plugs and ignition coils. Cleared codes and test drove for proper operation. No codes came back on. Tech did notice that both engine/transmission mounts are rotting out. Rec new transmission and engine mounts on both sides. This can be done upon returning home.

- Front steering and suspension are OKAY. Brake Caliper Left front is stuck applied. Will need front brake Calipers, Brake Rotors and Pads due to overheating and Deep Groves in rotors.
- Remove and reinstall four wheels and rear brake drums to inspect brake condition. Inspect entire system for leaks. Lining remaining is: Front ( 50%) Rear ( 15%) Recommend rear brakes.

Tech ran the vehicle on the life, no bearings are bad. Listened to all wheel bearings, transmission, front diff and rear diff and driveshaft carrier bearings. All components are quite. Tech found that the tires are a bit choppy, believe the noise if tire related. Rec tire rotation to see if the noise continues.
- Performed tire rotation. Customer should drive the vehicle to determine if the noise is still there. Torqued the wheels to 85ft.lbs. Set tires to 35psi.

2009 Mazda MX-5 Miata

- Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
- Performed LOF and 24 point inspection. Added 4.5qts 5/20w synthetic oil to fill. Replaced oil filter with a new PH2835. Set tires to 29 psi, brakes are good at 70% front and 70% rear. Replaced brake fluid. Coolant protection level is at -60*F. Air filter is okay, belt and hoses are okay. Battery was replaced. Lights all work. Topped off washer bottle.

- Preformed 24 point inspection and oil change. Replaced oil filter with a new P980 oil filter, filled with 4.4 qts of 0W-20 oil to fill, brakes are at 25% front and 50% rear. Will need brakes in 1-2 months. Coolant protection is at -60*F. Brakes are at 0% moisture content.
- Removed and replaced the alternator and serpentine belt. Checked for proper operation.

Note Front struts are starting to leak. Has aftermarket front adjustable struts.

P03400 Valve Pause System Stuck Off. Needs a new VVT Oil Pressure Switch Rear Of Engine. P0420 Catalytic Converter Efficiency Bank 1. This could be due to the engine misfiring on the rear cylinder. Need to fix the other items first. P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire. Vehicle is in need of a good tune up.

All other fluids look good. Air filter was blown out. All lights are operational. All other fluids look good and full. Topped off washer fluid and reset oil life reminder light.
- Preformed tire change over, torqued to 100ftlbs and set to 36psi.

Coolant protection is at -80*F. Brake fluid is now at 0% moisture content after the brake fluid flush. Was 5% moisture content. Belts and hoses are fine, lights all work. Battery tested fine. Set tires to 30 PSI and reset oil life.
- Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
